Who Is Frank DePonte? I am a Web Applications Developer with over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of corporate, technical, and creative environments.
Skills I began my career as a LAMP Developer, but soon veered towards Python and Python-based Web-Frameworks like Django and Pylons.
My experience with Python predates these frameworks (I used Python as a Systems Administration scripting language and leveraged the MathPy and SciPy libraries for modelling before doing any MVC web development in this fine language) just as my Ruby experience predates my experience with Ruby on Rails, and I believe this differentiates me from many web developers currently on the market.
In addition I have substantial graphics experience with the opensource tools GIMP and ImageMagick, including of course a lot of production automation and Script-Fu experience.
